Helen immigrated to the United States in 1985, started machine knitting later in the year, loved it, started to design clothes, and on the advice from fans, wrote up her patterns to sell them.  She continues to write up patterns and sell them and enjoys every moment of the process!  Helen has worked at various knitting stores, and she has also extensively traveled the machine knitting circuit.  She worked the machine knitting circuit for approximately eight years, meeting many really nice people along the way.  In 1999, she decided not to travel so much, so she opened her own store in Covina and had a ball!  She then moved to a house in Moreno Valley, so she had to close the store as it was too far to travel.  She still does a small amount of travelling to teach and also teaches from her home by appointment which works for her!  You can read more about Helen and check out her patterns at www.helengusa.com and find her seminar itinerary on our website: www.mkgsd.com.
