Directions to Joyce Beers Community Center:
Joyce Beers Community Center is located within the Uptown District Shopping Center (on Cleveland Avenue), at the cross streets of Vermont Street and Vermont Way, one-half block north of Cleveland.
- Take Highway 163 to University Avenue.
- Proceed east to Vermont Street.
- Turn left on Vermont Street. Go straight through the Cleveland/Vermont Street intersection.
- The entrance to the center is on the right, next to Terra Restaurant and across from Trader Joe's.
Parking is available on the surface lot in the shopping center and underground. It is preferred that we use underground parking for meetings and workshops.
(Long-time San Diegans will remember this location as the former site of Sears.)
